This book was created to give a visual to the audio format. The design of this book emphasizes the inaccesibilty of this form of urban design in public spaces by pushing the legibilityof the text. Through the dimensions of the book (6x16in), “spike pages,” and other methods of text distortion this books aims to be hostile to its reader.
This book was featured in the Communication Arts 2025 Design Shortlist.

Hi, I’m Sofía!
and this my resume in english :)
y en español :)
I am a recent Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design and Human-Computer Interaction graduate from Washington University in St. Louis. I come from a Colombian and Mexican family—or 'Colexican' as my mom calls it—and that mix really inspires my love for cross-cultural design.I’m passionate about using design to explore identity, create socially engaged work, and bring ideas to life through motion graphics. I also love working in arts education and am dedicated to advocating for more representation in the design world.
